Young winners had an excursion at ZNTC
On March 18, Zelenograd Nanocenter conducted an excursion for the winners of “Microelectronic Technologies of MEMS” engineering contest. The participants were trained at Technology Park for youth "SMART-PARK" on the basis of MIET.
The school children knew about the commercialization of innovations, the importance of scientific research, the manufacturing infrastructure and the technological processes of MEMS manufacturing. The group visited the engineering block of IC manufacture, saw different processes: projection photolithography, diffusion, plasma-chemical etching, spraying and ion implantation.
At the end of the excursion, the children were awarded prizes and diplomas from ZNTC.

Zelenograd Nanocenter has been cooperating with MIET Technology Park for youth for several years on two career guidance programs: "Practical lessons and project activities on microelectronic technology for MEMS manufacturing" and "Practical lessons on demonstrating the work of intelligent sensors". These programs are carried out with the use of intelligent sensor systems of ZNTC.
